Privacy Policy

Your trust matters more than any feature we ship. This policy explains what we collect when you use PromptCraft Video (PCV), why we collect it, and the controls you have over it.

1. What we collect

  • Account data — email, username, hashed password, locale preference, and authentication audit trail.
  • Generation inputs — the prompts you write and any documents you attach (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX) for video generation.
  • Generation outputs — the rendered video files, scripts, and audio narrations we produce on your behalf.
  • Usage telemetry — minutes rendered, plan tier, and quota events. We use these to enforce plan limits and report your usage back to you.
  • Billing data — invoice history, payment intents, and the last four digits / brand of any card used. We never store full card numbers, CVC, or the magnetic stripe.

2. Why we collect it

Your data exists in PCV for one of three reasons: to deliver the service you asked for, to keep it secure, or to bill you accurately. We do not sell personal data, share it for advertising, or train external models on your prompts.

3. AI service providers

To generate the scripts, voices, and visuals that power your videos, we route your prompts and attachments through specialized AI infrastructure providers under commercial agreements. Those providers are bound by their own data-handling commitments, and none of them are given permission to train their models on your inputs.

4. Payments

Card payments are processed through a PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateway. Card details are entered into the gateway's secure form and never reach our servers — we receive only the outcome of the charge and an opaque reference to the card so we can show you receipts and (when supported) handle renewals.

5. Data retention

  • Generated videos remain in your library until you delete them.
  • Account data is retained while your account is active. Deleting your account removes personal data within 30 days, except billing records we are legally required to keep for up to 7 years.
  • Usage event ledgers are retained for 24 months for billing audit purposes.

6. Your rights

You can request export or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing info@pcv.ai. We respond within 30 days.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll email you and post a notice on this page before the new terms take effect.
